Matthew Dennis Fortier is the founder of Soren Rose Press and the author of The Gods in Our Eyes, the first novel in The Record of All & Everything. His fiction explores mythology, memory, identity, and the enduring questions that shape civilizations, weaving together expansive worldbuilding with deeply personal stories.

A lifelong student of history, folklore, and the craft of storytelling, Math draws inspiration from classic fantasy and science fiction while striving to create worlds that feel lived in rather than merely imagined. His work reflects a belief that the most compelling stories are those that continue to reveal themselves long after the final page.

Outside of writing, Math has worked as both a chef and a design drafter, experiences that have reinforced an appreciation for craftsmanship, patience, and attention to detail—qualities that continue to shape his approach to fiction.
